Yes, they do.
I do not believe they serve seafood here; it's more of an all American all-day breakfast kind restaurant.
Right now only for pick up. Not dine inside
Yes, the whole menu is,available 24 hours 7 days,a week.
24 hours and street parking
Always a pleasure to eat at Andy's. Best service around
Great food, excellent service, and a wonderful place to be to appreciate this fabulous Castro legacy business.
What a totally fabulous place! Full-on 24 hour diner with a real sense that it's part of the Castro. The staff are great fun, as well as very helpful. Food is great too and reasonably priced. Decor is suitably kitsch.Definitely recommend a visit.
Always good late night stand by....with the best chicken fried steak and eggs...best for breakfast I think.... I've had the best country gravy in the south but can honestly say Orphan Andy's has the best country gravy for a 500 mile radius. The staff is always good at their job but please don't rush them or be boorish or stupid.... And please don't walk in the door saying how expensive it is.... it's the corner of Castro and market with really good food limited seating and open 24 hours.... Some of the wait staff can be frosty sometimes which I personally enjoy and not a rude frosty but a funny frosty. They still make real ice cream shakes.... They're $10 but you get two because you get the cup and the tin. this is the first place I went to when I came to the Castro. I've been a fan for 27 years.... I hope that speaks volumes
Great food and great service. My Waiter Mike was awesome.
This place is good to go not only for late nights. Amazing food, location, and service
What a great place love the atmosphere! Got the chicken veggie soup, steak, potato salad & fries. Everything was delicious & the fries definitely tasted like they were freshly cut in house. Great prices too! Going back again for sure!
This place is amazing!! Just went for the first time last night for a sausage after the giants game, and I'll definitely be back!! Friendly service and delicious grub!! Love it!
My god, this place is fantastic!! I highly recommend. We had a little wait (it was Saturday night) but the food was amazing! We couldn’t have asked for better staff either, you guys rock!!
Been going here for years. Stuffed french toast is worth the drive from stockton
Orphan Andy's never impresses me. Never had a good meal. What I have experienced was food
I came here around early January and was pleasantly surprised by all of their Christmas light decorations. It was so cute! I came here at 7am on a weekday and there was surprisingly a lot of people. The place is small and I imagine there's a long wait on weekends. This place had the best biscuits and gravy I've had in SF! The texture of the biscuits was perfect- not too dry at all. I also tried their chicken fried steak which was really good. The portions here are also so big. I was so full by the end :D
Great diner food. The double cheeseburgers are huge! It's so hard to find a good 24hr diner in this city. This is my go-to when I'm craving that sit down diner experience at any time of day. Skip Mel's and come here instead!
I love this place so much. Everyone who works here is so sweet and their pancakes are the fluffiest. I’m not a regular though I have been going here since 2009, and I believe that there is only one place for this queer to fully enjoy breakfast, feel safe, and eat at any hour.
It appeared like an oasis out of the darkness from the surrounding buildings. Holiday decorations as far as the eye can see, such a small and cozy diner that is one of a kind. Perfect for after a long wandering night! The food is delicious and the staff are so thoughtful and sweet ;) definitely keeping it in my book for a rainy night
I went in around brunch time and darn there was a line and people still waiting for a seat to become available however, we didn't wait more than probably 5 minutes to be seated. More and more people kept coming so the lines for seating never stopped while we were there so just giving you a heads up. Obviously this place is bomb though if there's always people coming! Staff super cool, attentive, and friendly!! I totally appreciate and is major plus for me and reason I will go back is because they are not skimpy and cheap with their servings. They really hook you up with food make sure you get enough to eat! the food is bomb it taste so good and everything was cooked perfectly!!
I eat here 3-4 times a week. I am General Manager of a popular restaurant in SF. This diner style gem is a classic with all the bells and whistles. Since the 70s it has been frequented by the local LGBT and Harvey Milk. Plates are loaded w food....heavy portions. Service is friendly, kitchey, & camp. Prices are fair. I highly recommend as part of your Castro experience.
Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. Service is typically great. The bill won't break you. Food is similar to a cafe in Indianapolis I liked.
I wonder why I would give an extra star for Orphan Andy's? Well, its location, service and really well cooked good food 24/7. There something about the Castro district that makes this diner all the more interesting.
Orphan Andy's is one of my favorites in the Castro and one I usually try to go to when I am in the neighborhood. I almost always get breakfast here and the portions are good. The chocolate chip pancakes are fantastic. I love their omelettes. I really, really enjoy their french toast. I was there this past Sunday and felt like the food was off, which seems pretty rare. The sausage was basically at room temp and my scrambled eggs needed a little more cooking. I'm not one to eat my pancakes or french toast with butter. I never have and never will. It's not my thing and grosses me out. Almost anywhere I go, when I ask for no butter, I get butter. I asked for no butter on my french toast. Guess what? I didn't get any butter!!! So my meal on Sunday seemed to balance itself out. Either way, I'm looking forward to my next visit. And the staff here is always nice.
Went here for dinner with a friend since it was my last night in SF. The decor was a mix of old and new (very cool) and the food was amazing. The both of us got my friend's recommendation: the Hawaiian burger with onion rings. The host was very nice and friendly! Overall, super great experience
Love this diner. Open 24/7. Non expensive food. Good for a post night out sober up session or just some thing to eat when you don't know what you want in the overpriced Castro. Staff is nice and the place is always decorated
A small gem of a diner. The main dishes are great and so are the sides. The French fries and potatoes salad are fantastic. One of the best combinations of affordable food and high quality in all of San Francisco.
This is my fave eating place for the last 2 nights. Open 24 hours. Great ambiance, colours, sound and is just vibrant. Staff welcoming. Meals hot and huge. Love it. And so easy to hop on the streetcar/tram right outside the door.
Love this place it so amazing. Love the customer service here.
Beautifully made food cooked with the feeling of a classic diner feel. They serve large portions and is an amazing spot thats open 24 hours!
Great breakfast and AMAZING service, can't think of a better way to start the day in SF! The guy who served us was a delight, although he did fill up my mug of hot chocolate with black coffee during one of his refill runs. No complains there though. Will be back again the next time I'm in SF.
Excellent service price many a good food
This place is Great. We lived near here for 6 weeks and eat here most days. Staff were so kind and food amazing
Amazing staff serving up great breakfast and burgers. I love Orphan Andys!
Love eating at this diner in the Castro. Great selection of food and service. I love their tuna melt on rye bread with a side of fries. My daughter always gets their grilled cheese sandwich. And they're open 24 hours a day!
Look, I'm from Denmark, I've never tried a typical American diner but I can tell you, this place is magical! Our waiter (Joe) was energetic, positive and extremely helpful! We're on a road trip, and he told us everything we needed to know and a lot of useful tips. He put me in a good mood and made my day! But enough about Joe, let's talk about the food. The food was AMAZING. The milkshake was delicious and extremely, just good in every single way! The pancakes were super tasty and filling. The whole meal was delicious and I definitely want to return for more! If you're in the area and looking for breakfast, I would no doubt recommend Orphan Andy's.
The food and staff are amazing! Perfect spot to start the day or end the night.
Great Atmosphere. Awesome Friendly Welcoming People. I went in a Stranger from out of town and I left feeling like A Friend. ❣🤩👍
Favorite comfort spot in SF. It was the first place I ate after moving here and always take loved ones here when they visit town. My two favorites: French toast w/bacon (so good I usually don’t need syrup); and their sloppy joe!
I loved this place. Was shocked to learn that Castro had such a nice diner opened 24/7. The food was so good and the staff was kind and patient with us drunk people on a Saturday night. I definitely would recommend this place.
It's a diner, folks, complete with the best greasy spoon menu items a person could want. The service is fast with a side of attitude. If you sit at the counter avoid the middle seats unless you want to face a surly dishwasher whilst you eat.Good food. Hefty portions.
Top 3 best burger of the USA.
The sizes are truly American, worth to go if you are very hungry.
Yummy country fried steak & hot cakes. Fast & welcoming service. :)
My friends and I came for dinner after a day in the city. There is limited seating but they give big servings of their dishes. I got the mushroom burger with potato salad which were delicious. I was able to try some of my friends meals as well. The onion rings were a bit oily, the chocolate chip pancake was very chocolate-y but not too sweet, & the chili cheese fries were ok.. it had too much beans.I also got some food to go for my significant other. The fresh pork chops were a bit tough and we have not tried the spicy chicken wings yet.It was a decent meal for the price point. I would come back to this place if I am in the area again but I wouldn't make a trip down there just for the food.
EVERYTHING EXTRA LAGE, 1 meal serves, pkease try tge ny steak sandwich!
Been coming to this place for 15 years. The grilled cheese is always on point, and being able to play my own music while I eat is great. So much great after bar food.
Outstanding service! We were treated like royalty. Truly a rare treat!
The Ruben Sandwich should be listed as a Sauerkraut sandwich with la small puece of meat!! The grilled Sauerkraut was still cool. Need a new cook!!
Just a little smile from the staff would push this neighborhood fave to a 5...
Life saving at 4am! Fresh ingredients cooked masterfully. Service was warm and welcoming, my new late night favorite.
My favorite local diner and my favorite local business owners in the area. Can’t beat the breakfast potatoes and the coffee is spot on. Just a quick walk past the theater and directly across from Castro station, it’s easy to find. Watching the owners give umbrellas to the homeless community and free cups of water makes my heart sing. Thank you for being a part of this community!
The Orphan Andy's Meatloaf is excellent. It's includes soup which it's homemade and excellent as well. I would come back!
Great spot for late night food. I had sunny side up eggs, bacon, and pancakes. Everything was great. Lots of butter on the pancakes! I’d recommend it if you are looking for a late night diner in SF
